What the statuses and dates mean
Injured, doubtful and suspended are FPL's own flags, with FPL's news and, for doubtful players, its chance of the player playing in the next gameweek (25%, 50% or 75%). We refresh them every 30 minutes.
Unconfirmed means there are reports that a player may be injured, but FPL hasn't flagged him. These are not official FPL updates and nothing is certain: the player may not be injured at all, and it may be a false alarm. They disappear once FPL flags the player or his team plays again.
Likely back is the expected return date: the gameweek FPL dates the return for, when it gives a date. When FPL says “unknown return date” or 25-50%, it's our estimate (~GW, with a range) from four seasons of FPL injury news: how many more gameweeks regulars with the same kind of injury, out for about as long, actually missed. Half were back by the gameweek shown; the range covers the middle half. FPL's own dates are right to within a gameweek about 6 times in 10, and slip later more often than earlier.
Severity (one to five dots) is how long he's likely out, from the return date above: one dot, he'll probably play the next gameweek; two, he misses 1-2 gameweeks; three, 3-4; four, 5-8; five, 9 or more, or no return in sight. It's about time out, not a medical grading.
Last played is his last Premier League game with minutes this season, so the injury happened then or since. Reported is when FPL last updated his status: the first report, or a later change (a new return date, 75% to 50%).
Recent team news confirming a return to full training or availability can remove an injury or doubtful flag from this list before FPL updates it. This does not guarantee a start. Suspensions are unaffected.
